Works very well.
Purchased this feeder for my cat who eats only wet cat food due to digestive and dental issues. I was mostly concerned because he has to eat several times a day with a little portions and with an upcoming vacation I was at my wits end wondering how I could keep my cat at home and not have to have him go to a kennel, have a sitter live at my house for eight days or have someone stop at my house six times a day to feed him appropriately.
I googled automatic cat feeder this one, and several others popped up. After watching reviews on each product on YouTube I found that the ipettie I found had better reviews and it has a six slot feeder, versus a five slot feeder. Easy set up with the app I can control the feeder manually or program time settings. The feeder slots are large enough for a cat or small dog to get their face in the dish to clean it thoroughly. If your cat suffers from whisker fatigue that might be a challenge for your cat. It’s very easy to clean. I did purchase a pet cam so that I could check his feeder slots to be sure that he ate the meal that I manually switched for him, since he eats leisurely. The feeder I purchased is the white one with Wi-Fi, and that feeder came with a set of ice packs. I did purchase two sets of ice packs not realizing it came with a set. I emailed the company told them that I would like to return a set of ice packs. They gave me the option of a nine dollar store credit a six dollar partial refund to my credit card or I could pay the shipping fees to send it back. They were very responsive I did the six dollar partial refund and the process started immediately and we’re very responsive to my email. I have to say I highly highly recommend this product if you have a pet and you’re away from home a lot or if you’re going on vacation…. this product definitely serves its purpose and now I feel better knowing he can be fed like he needs to be while I’m at work and while on vacation I only have to have someone stop at my house once a day to fill the feeder!!!!!! Great wet food / dry food dispenser for pets. I can enjoy peace of mind that my cats are fed while I’m away for a weekend. The app is super easy to configure the feeding settings and alerts me whenever my cats are fed. I bought a bunch of these — great product!!
